Loch Leven Lodge on Donner Lake, has been a destination for vacationers interested in spring fishing, summer water sports, fall photography and winter skiing for more than 50 years. The lodge is located on the sunny north shore of Donner Lake, in Truckee, CA. It is known and appreciated for its unique, quiet, romantic, small resort setting. Loch Leven is a year 'round housekeeping resort. All units are on the lake with panoramic views of Donner and Castle Peaks and with immediate access to a 5000 square-foot redwood deck and boat dock. The deck sits on the waters of Donner Lake and includes a putting green, boating harbor, summer swim raft, fishing chairs, sunning lounges and a hot spa maintained at over 100 degrees throughout the year. All living units have gas burning fireplaces. Loch Leven Lodge first opened in 1952. While some remodeling has occurred over the years, the lodge has retained its original charm. |
