TRAVELING FROM THE WEST
Exit Interstate 80 at the first Truckee off ramp: Donner Pass Rd/Donner
State Park. Turn right at the stop sign, proceed down Donner Pass
Road for 1.5 miles. We are on the left side of the road, on the lake. |
TRAVELING FROM THE EAST
Exit Interstate 80 at the last Truckee off ramp, Donner Pass Rd/Donner State Park. Turn
left at the stop sign and travel over the freeway. At the next stop
light go straight. Proceed down Donner Pass Road for 1.5 miles. We
are on the left side of the road, on the lake. |
"OLD 40"
Donner Pass Road is also known as "Old Highway 40". You
can exit I-80 at Soda Springs and reach the lodge by traveling over
the old route, a very scenic drive including the restored Rainbow Bridge. |
